Nepal experiences generally predictable and consistently pleasant weather, a surprising characteristic given its geographical diversity. Despite being a relatively small country, Nepal hosts a variety of climates across its regions. The tropical, temperate, and tundra climate zones are encountered in Nepal's Terai belt, midland hills, and alpine regions, respectively. The country features four distinct seasons: winter, spring, monsoon, and autumn.

For nature enthusiasts, the optimal time to visit Nepal is during spring, when flowers are in full bloom, and mountain slopes are adorned with vibrant colors. However, occasional cloud cover may either obstruct or enhance mountain views. This splendid spring season spans from early March to late May. Subsequently, the monsoon season prevails from late May to late August. Autumn graces the country from September to late November, offering temperate climates, clear blue skies, and breathtaking mountain vistas a perfect period for trekking enthusiasts. Winter sets in from late November to late February.
